Why the Bronco changes the kit
The 4-door gives about 83 cu ft with the seats down — enough to sleep two and a favorite for getting deep into trailheads. A full-size vehicle: no tent, two sleep on the folded seats, and nothing else has to pack small.
Removable roof and doors are a bonus at camp; pack a tent for anything more than an overnight.
Sleeping inside the vehicle
With the rear seats folded, the Ford Bronco is a flat platform.
- On the cargo floor: a 2.5-inch self-inflating pad, or a 4-inch air mattress.
