Why the Tahoe changes the kit
Around 123 cu ft with all rear seats folded - two adults sleep lengthwise with gear beside them. A full-size vehicle: no tent, two sleep on the folded seats, and nothing else has to pack small.
The independent rear suspension on 2021+ models makes the load floor lower and flatter than older Tahoes.
Sleeping inside the vehicle
With the rear seats folded, the Chevrolet Tahoe is a flat platform.
- On the cargo floor: a 2.5-inch self-inflating pad, or a 4-inch air mattress.
- Camp in it often: a plywood-and-2x4 platform with drawers underneath - a real bed plus gear storage.
